Bakery Located in Snow Camp

We are a small bakery, operating out of our own space (which is big step up in the world for us). Most shifts will be with one other person, with potential time alone.

Most of our labor is done by hand, though we have incorporated a few machines to save our bodies and keep product consistent.

We do three farmers’ markets a week. Each market has really busy times, slower times, and dead times. Our customer base varies, but they appreciate our unique flavors and variety that we offer. People are always looking for suggestions and like to connect about our favorite things.

up to 16 hours

Shifts are market shifts and can be tailored to only cover the market, or to be full 8 hour shifts with some prep work at the bakery

Pay starts at $15/hour

Shifts are: Tuesday 2p-7p

Thursday 1p-7p

Duties include:

• Loading van for market

• driving to market

• setting up market stall

• greeting and serving customers

• offering suggestions when needed

• handling monetary transactions

• reloading van after market

• driving back to the bakery

• unloading van and locking up

About You

We are looking for someone who is happy to interact with people and able to move quickly and efficiently for short burst of time.

We need people who:

• Willing to ask questions when unsure of how to proceed. We don’t mind repeating ourselves and want everyone to feel comfortable and confident with what they do

• Has a strong work ethic

• Has excellent money handling skills: able to count change and run a register

• Has strong customer service skills and likes interacting with people

• Comfortable working alone
