Sour Bakery will be closing after the Last market on August 9th! We have loved being a part of this community, a part of your table and your family, a part of your sweet treat weekend traditions. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to become better bakers and trying all of our experiments. I joked about starting a bakery when I moved here from California (I really didn’t think it was going to happen), and you all showed up, time and time again. I am so amazed by what we create week in and week out, and it wouldn’t have been more than a funny hope if each and every one of you hadn’t given us a chance (and some gentle feedback now and then). Thank you, from the soles of my feet and the crown of my head, thank you.

Last week I converted an accident into a possibility. This week the possibility is real, real splendid: multi seed rye (no caraway, should I add caraway?) and a little olive oil. Very tender crumb with nice nutty crunch. Stop by the @chfarmersmarket
